*** XBOX 360 has chosen INO Records’ Disciple to participate in their coveted “Game With Fame” program on Sunday March 1, granting fans the chance to play their favorite rock band in Halo 3. *** Winners of last year’s “Rock Album of the Year” at the GMA Dove Awards for Scars Remain, Disciple is up for the same award at this year’s ceremony for their latest and greatest Southern Hospitality. This is the band’s ninth nomination. The 40th annual Dove Awards will take place on April 23, 2009 at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, Tenn. and will air live on Gospel Music Channel.

*** Joining forces with Kutless, Stellar Kart and Esterlyn, Disciple is currently on the “Welcome to the Family” tour through March 15 playing for already sold-out crowds. Disciple will also team up with label mates Skillet and Decyfer Down for a 32+ city tour starting in early April for the “Comatose” Spring 2009 tour. Disciple’s first release on INO Records “Disciple” (2005) brought home three No. 1 hits, while their sophomore album “Scars Remain” (2006) became the highest selling record of their career, scanning over 100,000 units. The band’s latest and greatest project “Southern Hospitality” released in Oct. of 2008. Disciple has been nominated for a whopping nine GMA Awards including a win for “Rock Album of the Year” in 2008, while their hit single “Game On” received massive placement in sports shows across the country including “Best Damn Sports Show,” NFL’s “Total Axxess,” WWE’s “Cyber Sunday” and Speed TV’s “Speed Report,” as well as in venues such as Wachovia Center in Philadelphia and even Madison Square Garden in New York City. The single was also used in promotion for CBS shows “Criminal Minds” and “CSI Miami.” In 2008, the rockers were tapped to perform one of the songs on “WWE: The Music Vol. 8” for WWE superstar duo Hawkins and Ryder.
